My Mother Debra Laoma Vansant was born on September 2, 1957 in Santa Monica, California. Her birth parents are Laoma Wandalene Vansant and Donald Dean Vansant.

I do not think that their relationship after the divorce was friendly. My mother told me once that she never really got to see her father. It could have been that he was in the army. There isn't much talk about childhood and relationships.
